Captain Tom Traina begins his 12th year taking fishing charters in 2010 after spending the previous 26 years as a commercial fisherman.
Partly driven by the restrictive changes in new fishing regulations but mostly by the pleasure derived by sportfishing, he has returned to his first love.
He enjoys both introducing new people, especially kids, to fishing and also challenging seasoned anglers with new adventures on the water. Utilizing various methods of fishing to catch a large variety of fish throughout the season keeps the whole experience interesting and enjoyable.
Tom lives in Harwich with his wife Janice, who owns and operates Emack and Bolio's Ice Cream shop in Chatham. His two children, Marisa and Mark, grew up on the Cape and return to visit often.

Marisa is now Senior Brand Manager for The Boston Beer Company, which means Sam Adams and Twisted Tea are the preferred beverages on the Sue-Z.

Mark and wife Edie are on the faculty at the Taft School in Connecticut and with granddaughter Caroline have a summer home in Harwich.
